2026 Subaru Forester Sport: Versatile Suburban Performance & Comfort

The 2026 Subaru Forester Sport combines impressive efficiency, refined interior comfort, and legendary capability in a modern crossover package. Finished in striking Crystal White Pearl with a durable Gray StarTex leatherette interior, this vehicle is designed to adapt effortlessly to your active schedule. Whether managing daily family routines in Markham or loading up cargo for a weekend trip, the spacious cabin and standard all-weather traction ensure complete confidence on every drive. You can explore our Subaru Forester inventory to see how this model fits your daily driving needs.

    Performance & Capability

Under the hood, the 2026 Subaru Forester Sport features a 2.5L H-4 direct injection engine producing 162HP. Power is managed by a smooth Lineartronic CVT mated to Subaru's proven Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, providing continuous power delivery and surefooted handling on slick or unpaved surfaces. Advanced driver tools like X-MODE driver selectable drivetrain modes and Hill Descent Control optimize wheel traction in challenging conditions. Despite its standard all-wheel capability, this crossover remains remarkably efficient, delivering an EPA-estimated 35 MPG city and 34 MPG highway. Ride quality is balanced and composed thanks to a four-wheel independent suspension with a front strut and rear double wishbone configuration. Additional capability elements include Active Torque Vectoring, auto stop-start engine technology, and 19-inch bronze finish aluminum-alloy wheels fitted with P235/50VR19 all-season tires.

    Technology & Connectivity

Modern technology keeps you connected, entertained, and informed on every journey. The center console features an 11.6-inch primary display touchscreen hosting the Subaru 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation System. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smart device integration lets you access navigation, playlists, and communication apps without plugging in cables. Passengers can easily charge devices using the front wireless smart device charging pad or four dedicated USB ports. Audio performance is enhanced by a Harman/Kardon 11-speaker sound system with a 576W amplifier. Driver awareness and safety are supported by EyeSight Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Reverse Automatic Braking, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror featuring a HomeLink garage door opener. Drivers can also get pre-approved for financing online before taking a test drive.

    • Solid vehicle

Well built, solid vehicle. Excellent visibility. Ok acceleration with the hybrid. Handling is good too and good turning radius. I average about 30 mpg. I have not had issues with the screen freezing or being able to navigate to any apps. I have never had an issue with the parking sensors. They sometimes beep but never intrude on me actually being able to maneuver the vehicle. You can turn off the lane keep assist and the "nanny" that tells you to keep your eyes on the road. I wish it was faster and got better mpgs but overall a great vehicle and I knew what I was purchasing. Subaru has one of the best dealership customer services where I live, most other dealers here couldn't care less about you after the sale. Also one of the only dealers that don't mark up over msrp.…

    • Excellent SUV

I have owned many new cars from Japanese and American brands over the years, except a Subaru. I just purchased a '26 Touring Hybrid and absolutely love this car over all others. It drives very smoothly, is quiet, and definitely has a noted feel of luxury, both inside and out. The stereo is amazing and even allows me to replay songs on the radio. I could not be happier with this purchase.…
